Allied healthcare professionals are clinical healthcare professionals other than medicine, dentistry, and nursing. They work in a healthcare team to make the healthcare system function.
Out-of-hospital
N Option Plus
- These healthcare services are paid up to 100% of the Fund Rate from the available funds in your Medical Savings Account and Above Threshold Benefit.
- Dietician visits are limited to two visits per person per year.
N Option Basic
- Certain allied healthcare professionals are covered at 100% from the day-to-day benefit limit and are subject to the overall annual limit.
- Dietician visits are limited to two visits per person per year.
- Alternative therapists are not covered on this plan.
In hospital

- We pay physiotherapists and biokineticists up to 100% of the Fund Rate up to an annual sub-limit for the family each year, and the overall annual limit.
N Option Basic
